Board Member 

My professional experience begins with growing up on our family farm where I learned the value of hard work at an early age. Among many things, life here taught me failure is never an option, the harder you work, the "luckier" you get, your attitude will make you or break you, and problems are opportunities to sharpen your creative skills.

In 2001 I graduated with a BA in business management. A short time later a friend of mine invited me to help him start an SPF insulation company. We started in 2002 and in a few years went from a start-up to a medium-sized SPF insulation company with 4 rigs, 3 locations, and 10% market share in our state. We made a lot of mistakes, and enjoyed many successes. The education I gained as I managed our team during that season was invaluable. I developed a keen understanding of SPF sales, production and business operations, equipment, chemistry, building science, organizational management, and more.

In 2003 I created Cenergy LLC, a HERS rating firm that pioneered an energy guarantee program based on the use of SPF insulation and proper HVAC and distribution system design.

Over the past 10 years I've been a foam contractor and an independent consultant for SPF contractors, home builders, commercial GCs, and SPF manufacturers throughout the U.S and Australia, helping people get maximum profit and productivity out of their SPF businesses.

Recently I held the position of national sales manager for Celltech Foam Inc. where I led a team of sales reps who sold Bayer MaterialScience SPF products to contractors across the U.S. Our team achieved triple-digit sales growth every year of our contract.

Presently I am the national sales manager for Arnette Enterprises, Inc. I live in Pella, IA, with my beautiful wife and our four children.
